My review is based solely on the practice that Bare Bones uses on the Amazon.com web-site, in regard to their shipping policy. I placed an order on February 28th where the item 'Product Page' listed the shipping to be '1-2 days'. After receiving notice that the item was expected to be delivered 10-14 days later I called and spoke with a representative at Bare Bones. It was then explained to me that there is a pre-shipping process, whereby a 4-7 day period precedes the actual shipping of an order. The representative also mentioned that the item is shipped through their distribution center in Kentucky, rather than one of their actual stores.There is no mention of this pre-shipping process mentioned on Amazon or the actual Product Page for the item, which is an obvious deceptive practice, as a buyer would reasonably expect to receive them much earlier than is actually possible through the processes Bare Bones use. ...read more

I have had excellent service from House of Furs. They have cleaned and repaired several of my furs with excellent results. They also repurposed a couple of older style furs into scurrent styles. It is so hard to find experienced furriers but HOF is the best! ...read more
