Angela's style of counseling has really worked for my wife and I, getting us to be comfortable in sharing with her and each other in a safe environment. I have been under Angela's care for over a year and a half due to a serious mood disorder. She is an integral part of my psychiatric team. Therapy is about chemistry with your therapist and Angela is perfect for me. She is always prepared for our sessions. Under her care I have learned to identify symptoms and use tools to deal with feelings. She REALLY listens and provides thoughtful insight. The biggest positive is that I know she is in my corner and truly cares about me and my well being. That is so rare to find. This is more than just a job for Angela. It's difficult in life to find truly empathetic people. Angela truly cares about her clients. I met Angela at a time that could charitably be called the low point of my life. She quite literally helped bring me back from the brink of death. She helped me find confidence, faith in myself, heal, and get rid of toxic elements and people in my life. Therapists are not one size fits all. You need to find someone whose style fits. Angela has a give and take style that emphasizes personal connection and shared empathy from a place of mutual caring. This allows her and her client to have a deep connection. Therapy will only go as far as you allow it to and it involves difficult decisions and honest views about yourself and you actions.
