I have always been very pleased with the level of service and professionalism of the pharmacy at this location, albeit, it is not a 24 hour pharmacy. This location has a closed-door pharmacy counseling room, if needed, and the staff of pharmacy tech's are respectful and most professional with the pharmacy customers that they serve. The entire store was recently remodeled, and the pharmacy area is now more roomy and spacious with an open-floor type layout with waiting area. This store has a Thrifty Ice Cream counter, so if you have to wait for a prescription, indulge back into your childhood and do some reminiscing about when a single scoop ice cream cone was 10 cents with a single scoop that is now about $1.49.... ...read more

Since this location opened, their pharmacy has gone downhill. After a very recent experience with a disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional pharmacy tech, I decided to transfer all of my prescriptions from Walgreen's, specifically this location, and go elsewhere. Pharmacy competition abounds on just about every street corner in the city I live in, and they should make note of this in their continuing operation at this location. Management should be held accountable for the mediocrity in the pharmacy department, and not pass this off onto the employees which they themselves hired.\t\n\t\nMany of my parent's relatives are from Chicago, IL., and given the great longstanding decades-old heritage of Walgreen's in the midwest, it's a shame that the management they hired for their newer venture onto the west coast is of such mediocre flavor.... ...read more
