6 PM on a Wednesday I made an emergency call to ARG Appliance Repair. Because we'd had a great experience with their service tech Armen I picked up the phone fully intending to push as hard as I needed to get him as our tech. But no pressure was needed at all. Their customer support (even at this late hour) was so gracious, understood my sense of urgency, did his best to accommodate my need and my special request for a specific technician, and did so in such a professional manner. I have never been treated with such respect from any company. Despite my extremely late call their tech Armen showed up the same day and took care of us. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Minerals are essential for the basic functions of the human body to take place. However,a big misconception is that we obtain minerals from our drinking water.This is actually not true because, in reality, the main source of minerals is always from our food in diets, not from our drinking water. Because in order to receive enough minerals for our body, we would need to drink a bathtub amount of water everyday ! Not very feasible, Iam sure that a doctor would not prescribe a "bathtub of water" if the patient was deficient in minerals. Therefore you need to watch out for the hundreds of companies out there that are selling products which claim that they can take out ALL the bad contaminants and leave you only the good stuff (healthy minerals) in the water. The truth is that there is no real purification method that can be selective and leave you only the "good" stuff. When filters leave you the good stuff, they actually leave you "most" of the stuff in the water. "Most of the suff" meaning besides calcium and magnesium, they also leave you pesticides and most chemicals. In this era of pollution when water contains much more disease-causing contaminants than beneficial minerals, it make sense that the water we use in the house and drink shoud be as pure and clean as possible.
