BUY FROM YOUR CARRIER NOT RADIO SHACK or at least not this one, because they don't know what they are doing. Went to this store to get 2 Galaxy S3 for Christmas gifts, also bought a third phone. The S3"s were supposed to be a surprise. I told the girl helping us that ATT said I could activated the sim for the one phone after I gave it as the gift. Either the manager or whoever, who couldn't seem to put his coffee cup down for long, told her she needed to activate it then deactivate. In this process they deactivated my son's current sim card so I had to make up a story that something must have happened and I would get him a new sim card. I am sure he figured it out. Then Christmas morning we gave him his phone and low and behold the new sim card couldn't be activated!!!!!!!!!!! So now it is Christmas and my son will have to wait until they open THANK YOU FOR RUINING MY SON"S CHRISTMAS. Oh and yes I spoke with my carrier this morning and they said they DID NOT NEED TO activate. ...read more
