This is something new this company is doing for $40.00! No one else offers this service that I've found on-line. No hard sell to put a caregiver in place (they also do this service). A gal came to the house and checked for tripping hazards and other things that would be dangerous for mom. She finished the assessment, sat with my brother and I and talked to us about what she found. She recommended grab bars in the bathroom and hall way. And had us roll up and remove some area rugs while she was there. lighting was also recommended for each room (nightlights) for night time bathroom or kitchen visits. Very pleasant, mom loved her. I dont know what others have experienced but I use Cambrian Homecare in Sun City and I love them. Laura, the receptionist at Cambrian is so nice and professional. When I interviewed the 'nanny' she was excellent! Not just some woman off the streets, she is an autistic teacher, is IBI certified, and has an autistic son of her own. She is real loving and caring to my son, and very professional. She called to confirm the interview, she even texts me on her off days to see how my son is doing. Shes great! I must admit I almost let these bad reviews deter me from saying yes to Cambrian homecare. But Im glad they didnt.
