Are you crazy my friend said. You sent money to someone you don’t know that you found on Craigslist? I was skeptical too. Cynthia found me the carpet and pad I wanted at about 40 percent of store cost including installation! I'm now sitting looking at my beautiful, high-end carpet and am thrilled! I measured each room and sent her color ideas. I patiently waited for her to find the right carpet. No more driving around to stores and time off work to meet measurement people. My savings were even greater because I was open to seconds. My friends and I have closely walked around looking at this carpet from different angles and see nothing wrong. She coordinated a perfect installation with an experienced, customer-focused installer though you can find your own installer if you want. I will never buy carpet anywhere else again. Cynthia is wonderful to work with and a real find on Craigslist. She is a true professional in today's world. I was looking for hardwood flooring to complete a job that was started 10 years ago. Cynthia not only found me the wood but at a great price. She was so gracious to me when I questioned her on why I should trust her, when I had just found her on Craigslist. She let me work out my own comfort zone. I had the flooring installed and it matches perfectly. I found Cynthia on Craiglist. I needed more wood flooring to complete a job done 8 years ago. Cynthia found the wood that I needed and at a great price, also the very same day. I was VERY NERVOUS about doing business with someone on Craigslist. I did my research and got nothing but great reviews on Cynthia. I paid Cynthia picked up the wood flooring at the warehouse and had it installed. I had mis-measured and needed two additional boxes of wood. Cynthia got them for me in less than 24 hours. Before doing anything with the old windows, it is important to measure the windows carefully. For width, the window should be measured at the top, middle and bottom. It should then be measured on the right side, left side and middle for height. This is a very important step because the new windows may not be returnable if it turns out that they do not fit in the space. After measuring carefully, it is time to remove the old windows. First, remove the inside trim, moldings and stops and save them for later use with the new windows. Next, remove the cords, weights and parting stops so that the top and bottom sash can be easily removed. If there are aluminum tracks in the window, be sure to remove those as well. Once the old window is removed, the space must be prepared before the new window can be properly installed. It is first important to fill all of the empty weight spaces with fiberglass insulation. Then, use a generous amount of caulk on the inside and outside edges of the stool as well as on the outside of the blind stops. After the space has been properly prepared, the handyman is ready to install the new windows. The first step is to carefully fit the new window into the opening. Then locate the screw holes and screw the window into the frame opening. Finally, install insulation around the window while being sure not to use too much around the top and bottom since that could cause the window to bow.
