I just joined this gym a month ago and this is by far my favorite. Mike, the owner clearly takes pride in his gym and will go out of his way to make sure the customer is happy. I normally feel intimidated at gyms, but the crowd is diverse and focused on their own workouts, so there's no meat market vibe and a newbie like me can feel comfortable. I live in Long Beach and I have visited some gyms and in my opinion First Step fitness is the best, with excellent trainers , nice classes, new machines, relaxing areas, This place is very clean. I love it! ...read more
