I think the overall experience with this salon is based on the stylist you get. I went in there a couple hours before closing wanting to get half hi -lights and a haircut, and even though I have very long, thick and curly hair they didn't tell me no. instead, Susan told me she would stay past closing to work on my hair for me, and wow! Am I glad I got her!!! I wanted light ash blond highlights on very dark hair and I was worried she would tell me it wouldnt be possible, but she said no problem and delivered on her promise. She got it to the exact shade that I wanted, with almost no damage, something that is extremely hard to do. Her prices were lower than everywhere else that I have done my hair, and lower than some of the other stylists there. she is a perfectionist who pays a great deal of attention to detail, repeatedly going over my hair to make sure the haircut was exactly symmetrical. I would highly highly recommend Susan, she is such a sweetheart and so genuine. Did not try to push any products on me, listened carefully to get what I wanted exactly right, took her time to make sure it was perfect.I am so happy with my hair and I am so happy I finally found someone who gets what I want exactly. ...read more

Every month or 2 I go to sally's and spend 50 to 150 dollars. Service is usually mediocre. I will no longer establish this business. The girls don't wear name tags. I now know why. I generally spend 45 min to 1 hr purchasing products. On my recent and last visit. A clerk ran into me when I was kneeling down. Grunted out sorry. No greetingupon arrival no assistance and I heard other customers disappointment in their customer service too. Upon checking out. I didn't have my sally's card. The girl with the steal ball in her lip threw me a pen and piece of paper. Her words " need your number". She proceeded to call service drop and salm phone. Then tell me "Nah, numbers busy". That was that with her help. And supposedly the manager was the other clerk. She was rude also. I felt like I was in a high school setting. I called and spoke with manager and she was annoyed with my call. With I'll speak with her. Today's economy doesn't need little gangster girls working in customer service. ...read more
