Palm Garden Apartments

The apartment area is great. The rent is good too, even though it went from $950 a month to $1,200. Its near schools, shopping centers, Freeway and Disneyland. The apartments itself is good but could be better. There is 12 units, each unit is a 1 bedroom 1 bath. Each unit has its own parking but if you have more than one car, the second car has to be parked on the street. The landlord and owner Joe is very polite and understanding with the tendants. The only issue is that if there is repair that needs to be done in the unit, he takes for ever to fix it and when he finally gets someone to a dress the issue is usually the cheapest way he can get it. Another issue that makes this place unpleasant is the infestation issue thats been going on for sometime now. When I first moved in the apartment seem clean and pleasant but then a couple of months after living in the partment I started to notice small roaches here and there until gradually it just became a full blown infestation that no matter how much I cleaned and how much raide I used the critters still keeped popping up. But what did it for me and made us moved was when the bedbug infestation started and from what I know is still going on with out being treated. We had to disinfect everything before moving into our new place because everone know how hard is to get rid of bedbugs. Other than that like I stated is a good place but could be much better. ...read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! I promise you this: if you park on the street your car will be broken into, don't believe me drive by and look at all the broken glass. The managers will treat you like a dog. You will dissatisfied with maintenance. You will never want to get in the pool. You will want to move after the first 30 days. Do not , i repeat, do not move here. I've lived in ghetto areas, and in places that I didn't like. But at least the management pretended to care, but not here. It's unsafe, low maintenance, cheap, and overall, a terrible living experience. ...read more
