Decker Patio & Awning

In March 2012, Mr. Gordon Decker, owner of Decker Patio and Awning of Reedley, agreed to build me a patio and told me that he would promptly order the materials and would have the patio installed within a week. After he failed to do so, I called him numerous times for almost two months thereafter inquiring as to why he had not started construction. Each time I asked if he had gotten the materials for my patio, he gave me one lie after another. On one occasion he claimed that he was too busy to install my patio (e.g., that he had other more important jobs). On another occasion, he said the manufacturer of the Duralum patio material was out of stock. He even blamed the City of Hanford and their cumbersome permit process for not having starting construction when promised. Each conversation I had with Mr. Decker was yet another phony excuse, followed by yet another date that he said he would have my patio completed. He also set several appointments to come to my home so that we could go over plans but failed to show every time. He has wasted two months of my time. He is unreliable and a liar.
