Most of the staff is knowledgible and easy to deal with. Unfortunately, the owner is a weasel with little man syndrome who likes to bully women into accepting his idea of what constitutes satisfactory, even when he is responsible for damaging the merchandise. ...read more

It never ceases to amaze me, how many people complain when they shop at Walmart and are not given Nordstroms customer service. They simply can't understand that their purchasing Tide Laundry detergent for $1.99 but if they can't find 6 people willing to assist load it into their car, then they feel they are being "wronged". For the record Home Appliance offers very competitive pricing. As for service, if you have a question they can get it for you. When you are saving $600 on the price of a Fridge if you can not afford to wait another week, simply pay the full price and buy it from Home Depot. Dont forget the $100+ delivery charge while you are there. I've purchased many appliances in my days as a remodeler and have had some delivery dates pass and go, but always got what I wanted. Great prices, manufacturer warranted products and answers when I needed them. IF YOU MUST COMPLAIN, save your money, these guys have plenty of customers and shop Retail at Home Depot or Lowes. Your college apartment fridge may costs, $1000, but never worry, at least you got it delivered on time... or come down to Home Appliance, purchase the same Fridge, with a minor ding or scratch on the side for $450, and pick it up yourself. STOP CRYING ALREADY! ...read more

OUR KITCHEN WAS TORN DOWN AND IN THE PROCESS OF BEING REMODELED. WE WERE TOLD THAT THE APPLIANCES WOULD ARRIVE IN 2 WEEKS BECAUSE THEY HAD BOTH IN ONE OF THIER WHEREHOUSES. WE MADE IT CLEAR THAT WE NEEDED THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE SO THE CONTRACTOR COULD COMPLETE THE KITCHEN. TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT THEY TOOK 4 WEEKS TO CALL AND TELL US THAT THE COOKTOP WE ORDERED IS DISCONTINUED WE NEEDED ONE ASAP SO WE OF COURSE WANTED A REFUND SO WE COULD BUY ONE THAT WE COULD TAKE HOME THAT DAY. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE US 5% TO GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT OUR FAULT. I ASKED THAT HE WAVE THAT FEE AND HE BEGAN TALKING AT ME AS IF I WAS STUPID AND IN A LOUD TONE OF VOICE POUNDING ON THE DESK, POUNDING THE CALCULATOR DOWN AND BEING DOWN RIGHT RUDE. I'VE HAVE NEVER BEEN DISRESPECTED THAT BADLY IN MY LIFE. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE HE WAS THE OWNER. I'VE NEVER BEEN THAT UPSET EVER. YOU MIGHT SAVE $40 ON AN APPLIANCE BUT IT IS NOT WORTH BEING TREATED HORRIBLY AND BEING TALKED DOWN TO. ...read more

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE OR REFER ANYONE TO THIS STORE AND I ADVISE ANYONE READING THIS TO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!!! YOU MIGHT SAVE $40 ON AN APPLIANCE BUT IT IS NOT WORTH BEING TREATED HORRIBLY AND BEING TALKED DOWN TO. I have been purchasing appliances from this store for about 25 years since when they were in Huntington Beach,\t\nand today I went in and purchased a trash compactor being a floor sample as they did not have one in the box in stock. No extra discount.\t\nThe problem began when in trying to put it into my SUV there wrre several sharp edges, and I asked them for some cardboard to insulate or some rope to tie it down.\t\nThey said they had none, and when I askerd the woman who sold me the appliance, she was very curt, and said they throw it our because it is a fire hazzard. That seems very far fetched to me. Rope too?\t\nI found cardboard and foam packing in their dumpster, but I will never go back, and if the Sears outlet store had had a white compactor in stock, I never would have gone there.\t\nI would strongly discourage anyone from using this store with these very uncooperative people. ...read more
