I had spent three weeks working with them on a deal for a brand new bike. They were offering me a fair price for my trades which I was not willing to part with unless the new deal went through. I went in on Tuesday to confirm all the numbers were as we discussed. We shook hands after she checked with a manager. I sold the bike on Thursday. I came back on Friday with the cash for the down payment, and suddenly they tried to raise the price by over $2600.00. They lied to me and said that the lending company was charging them a lot more money to finance me. I checked with the lending company because I knew someone there. He informed me that was completely a lie and the lending company would be paying the dealer money for the loan. Recently had an old, old K bike serviced. Cost a bundle ($3K) but it needed plenty work, a lot of which I knew about when I brought it in. The guy who worked on it (Paul) called me while he was working on it, to update me on what was going on and let me decide what I did or didn't want him to do. When I picked it up Paul came out and gave a me a complete rundown on what had been done, as well remaining issues that I might want to address, with some tips on doing it myself if so desired. The guy knew the bike inside out (hardly surprising), but more importantly was clearly very detail and quality oriented. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work. Whenever you take something in to a mechanic, there is always a little bit of concern over how they are treating your "baby"... If you need anything fixed from a motorcycle, quad to a PWC you need to go here!! He is very friendly and sometimes can fix it right there. A dealer would cost you 5x's for the same fix. ...read more
