I only came across this website when I was doing a quick look up of J.J's El Segundo phone number and I feel that the one negative review is not consistent with the type of service I have received from JJ over the last decade. I was referred to JJ by a coworker, who also had his taxes done by JJ, and he has been doing my taxes since 2001.I have had nothing but exemplary service from JJ and his staff. There was one occasion where I had need for an older tax return and had misplaced my hard copy, and within a day, JJ had emailed me the return. Even in those years my taxes haven't been that complicated, I still go to him because of the great service and he makes the process all very easy.Don't let one bad apple ruin the bunch...I highly recommend his services and will continue to use them for years to come. ...read more

For our 2009 taxes, my husband and I decided to get an extension on filing so we called J.J. to ask him how to do it. He has been our tax guy for 5 or 6 years. He answered my husbands call and alleged that he was never paid from the previous year. My husband was surprised but tried to tell him it had to be a mistake. J.J. told my husband we were on our own and hung up on him! What? Just like that? So I got online and looked at bank statements and found the endorsed check that J.J. received in March of 2009. I called the office and asked for him but I was told he was busy. I got the FAX # and sent a copy of the check over to him but did not receive a return phone call. I called again, no answer.
