I have worked with my fair share of cleaning services in the past few years, but Cathryn of Ambiance Home Design has by far surpassed my expectations. She is detail oriented and through. I have appreciated the little things in my house that she has addressed as well as the large items that never get cleaned the way i think they should. These guys (Casey Tench and Charles Smith) are the friendliest, fastest moving, and all-around best people I have met in the shipping and mail profession. They are kind, courteous, and very knowledgable. They were able to set up a mailbox for my businesses as well as receive packages that could NEVER have been sent to the actual Post Office... How to Clean Hardwood Floors The Right Way!
How do you clean Hard Wood floors the right way? Ambiance Home Design knows how and you should to! Many client's current service providers are not cleaning their Hard Wood floors the right way. First off you should never vacume Hardwood floors. A broom or dustmop are the only tools you should use on your Hardwood floors. Picking up the debris with your broom or dustmop is your first step. You then need to choose a Harwood floor cleaner.At Ambiance home Design I researched the best products on the market today for cleaning Hardwood floors. My results after trying many products is theBona Hardwood Floor Cleaner. (http://www.mybonahome.com) it is environmentally friendly and non toxic so it will not hurt your family and pets and comes in a 36 ounce bottle for about $8.49 The bottle should clean a home of 2400 square feet. It is specifically made to not dull your Hardwood floor finish or leave an oily residue on your Hardwood floor.Bona also carries a Hardwood floor mop that works with the Bona product but there are other Hardwood floor mops that are just as functional such as the "Quickie" floor mop you can buy at your local grocery store or Target stores. The main function of the mop you choose is that it should have a flat surface that is attatched to a base with a soft microfiber mop. Applying the product to your floors is an easy process once you are ready to go. Dampen your mop base just enough that it is lightly dampened not wet. You never want to apply water to Hardwood floors. In a S shape you apply the product to your floors in squares. You then scrub the square with the mop applying more product in each square as you go along. Rinse your mop and squeeze out any excess water just so it is damp again and continue cleaning. Continue the process until your entire floor has been well mopped.
