great place to connect with other men purely on a physical level without the pretensions of the internet. A few points: I often wish the music wasn't so loud, and there ARE other types of music besides disco and it would be refreshing to hear some sometime. And since so many of the customers are middle aged men and seniors it would be nice to sometimes show movies that reflect this on their TV screens. And the FREQUENT (and I do mean frequent) construction projects that seem to be underway everytime I visit often detract from the sensual atmosphere not to mention irritating my allergies when there's a lot of dust in the air. This review is written from the perspective of someone getting their first tattoo. It?s easy to get a bad tattoo but getting a top notch tattoo your first time out can be quite the challenge. Dave Moore of True Love Tattoo in Berkley delivered and then some. Being my first tattoo I did not know all the lingo or the exact way to convey what I wanted but I placed my basic idea on a tee and Dave was able to knock it out of the park. His imagination and creativity exceeded my expectations. His flawless line work, intricate shading and imaginative color choices were more than I hoped for. Equally impressive is the shop atmosphere, True Love Tattoo is a un-intimidating, friendly climate.
