Save Mart Supermarkets

Went to the Save Mart at 9600 Hageman on June 11, 2013 (last day of their sale for that week). I was going to stock up on their Marie Callender Dinners and Pot Pies. They had them advertised 5/$10 or $2 each. The pot pies rang up about $3.18. When I pointed out that it was wrong, the cashier argued that the ad said dinners OR pot pies. I told her that means you can purchase either item at that price, not just one or the other. She called for a manager. He FINALLY showed up but was no help. He looked at the ad, looked at the product and couldn't understand why they didn't ring up right. He left, came back, and said he was going to make another call to someone else. I asked if it was going to take long, because I had things in the car that needed to be taken home before they ruin and the line had grown behind me. He said it might. Friendly service and very engaged in my discussion around diabetes. I was looking for the best glucose meter to meet my needs. The Contour USB by Bayer was recommended. Pharmacist shared with me that it allows me to mark my readings before and after I eat and has a post meal reminder alarm for me to test 2 hrs after I eat. I now better understand how food impacts my glucose readings. It downloads software right onto my computer to manage my readings, I then print and take to doctors visit. Hina's is the best of the best. Their customer service cannot be beat. Most times you can be in-and-out of there in less than 10 minutes--even with a new prescription. (Compare that to a minimum 20 minute wait at one of the "big" pharmacies.) They're always glad to answer questions. Prices are competitive. If there is a question about your prescription you or they are not sure about, the will call the doctor's office on the spot (no waiting!) We just simply can't say enough good about them. We could possibly save $$ by buying mail order, but with Hina's outstanding service, we wouldn't consider going anywhere else. ...read more
