Star Support Shop recognizes the pain and fear a family goes through when a loved one is deployed overseas. The founder’s uncle has recently been deployed, and the fear and burden of the possibility of losing a loved one is not something we take lightly. Service flags are a touching symbol to those they touch. A star is not just a shape to those families, but a living, breathing family member. The blue stars represent hope and pride in those serving overseas. The yellow stars represent the sacrifice for the cause of liberty and freedom for our country. During World War II the practice of displaying sons in service flags became more widespread. In this current time of hostility and war, let us bring back the practice of PROUDLY displaying our love for those we love. Many may not support the actual war, but we can support those we love.
