Dr. Lanzarotta is a very nice person, but I do not recommend her for chiropractic care. Going to her for chiropractic could be dangerous for your health. She does not do the proper testing and x-rays before beginning treatment. As far as chiropractic care, she also does not explain what your health issues are, how they can effect you, and what an effective treatment plan would be for your specific issues. Because she does not do the testing before beginning treatment, she could possibly tear tissues and leave you in a worse condition than before seeing her. I went to her for several months and continued experiencing pain so opted to try another chiropractor. This chiropractor did x-rays on my back and found a curvature in my spine (scoliosis). This was the first time I found out about the curve in my spine. Had I continued going to Dr. Lanzarotta, who knows how much longer it would have been before I was aware of the curve in my spine. I cannot speak to the other services Dr. Lanzarotta offers because I only saw her for chiropractic, however because she cuts corners with chiropractic care, I would be weary of any of her services. If you are in need of chiropractic care, I would recommend seeing a chiropractor who does the following evaluations before treating: x-ray, surface emg, heart rate variability, and thermal scan. Further, you can be more sure the chiropractor really cares about your health if they are ok with you getting your x-rays done by your primary care physician at a lower cost. I hope this helps. I had a consulation with Dr. B. Wow, did it suck. I was given the diagnosis of scoliosis!!! Never in my life has any profesional Dr. told me this. Dr. B. said it would cost about 4,000 dollars for treatment to fix. I got many other oppinions from other Dr.'s. They all laughed and said i was scamed. That the x-rays were taken off center to make it look like my spin was curved!!!!! They said even if i did have scoliosis that it is not fixable by ajustments. Its something that you have to wear a back brace and surgical!!! Dont fall for this mans scam. He is good at trying to talk you into stuff. Its the best Chiropractor office that i have ever been too. Great atmosphere and friendly people. The one thing that was impressed with was after my MVA Dr. Barney gave a more thorough exam then my personal doctor and the specialist that i was sent to through my hmo. At my hmo it was a 15 minute (if that) appointment with me telling them what if fell and then the provider pressing on my back with their finger tips and up my neck. With the normal physical therapy recommendation (that only helped a bit) and some medication. After 10 months of doing what the 'doctor' ordered- I was done. My mom found Dr. barney for me. He did like a 2 hour exam. Checking things from how long i can lay down straigh before feeling pain, to grip ability, to an xray. So If you decided to go with him. Plan at least 2 hours for your first appoint. And the other appointments are fabulous. Come in, lay down on the heat and listen to music and the people in their also getting their bones aligned- and get fixed. I just really can't say how much it helped.
