I have NEVER had so many issues with a new dentist. My first visit was for a routine cleaning. He told me that I should replace a filling because it was pushing away from my gum line. Trying to be proactive, I made an appointment right after and he redid the filling. The space between the two back teeth was too large and I had issues with food getting stuck and had some pain and sensitivity. My next visit, he agreed that the space was too wide and redid the filling again. Still wasn't right so he redid it again. Tells me the pain is due to possible root damage. Because the filling was so deep, he had to drill close to the root and I might need a root canal. Said I have a 50% chance of the root dying. I was totally annoyed and was second guessing why he wanted to redo the original filling so I asked him, "why did we do this again" and he replied, "because of decay". NOT THE ORIGINAL DIAGNOS.
