Had Steve and his crew build 2 decks for us now and I cannot say enough about the end product. Steve has great attention to detail and helped throughout the thought and design process to incorporate it into our home. His work was on schedule and the end product fit our home like a glove. Prior to inking a deal with Steve I also called several of his past clients and they all shared a similar experience which really sold me on his work. I visited a few local projects and the quality was what I would rate a 10 out of 10.

Steve Penrod of first class decks is a first class joke! This guy took nearly two weeks to give me a bid of which was fair. I then decided to hire becouse his ratings were so good on service magic. He was suppose to start never showed, called him, he gave me some lame excuse about his wife and then rescheduled, he didn't show again , never called, I called him, told me he was moving out of his home and had forgotten about my deck, then was scheduled again and he never showed again. This guy is a JOKE ! I also just found out today after speaking with the town to see if they could give me names of licensed reliable contractors that this guy has numerous complaints and has never gotten his License or bond paperwork with the town or county ( porter). I find it hard to believe any of the ratings that are posted. This guy acts like a classic hilbilly drunken druggy contractor. BE WARE... WAITST OF TIME... PUT MY PROJECT BACK NEARLY 6 WEEKS.
