OK if you never care about contacting corporate management. Otherwise BEWARE!
The manager, Dave, is very friendly and quite competent, but he is VERY limited in his powers by Extra Space Storage's policies and management structure. It seems that any request for even the slightest deviation from the standard way of doing things requires approval (NOT easy to get) from the District Manager, and there is no appeal. That is because corporate management deliberately insulates themselves from clients. All of ESS's "Customer Service" is handled by an outside company. All of ESS's marketing is done by an outside company. All of ESS's collections are done by an outside company. None of these groups could give me an address or phone number for corporate HQ (if one exists). ESS management avoids all responsibility for their policies and actions or lack of action. Because of this I refuse to do business with them again.
I have to mention two good things about this location: (1) It is always kept very clean. (2) Gate hours extend from 7AM to 10PM.
