Lash Rehab Beore&After

“The bitterness of poor quality lasts far longer than the sweetness of low price.”
-Dr. Charles Crutchfield of Crutchfield Dermatology

ADFEE Certified Stylist
At The Lash Extension our primary focus IS eyelash extensions.  We are not the most expensive, nor the cheapest; but we are one of the best.  We proved it by having our peers examine our work and became the FIRST in Georgia to be ADFEE Damage-Free Certified.  The health of your natural lashes is our top priority.

There are many Lash Salons that are not licensed by the Board of Cosmetology (as a business) where lash extensions are being applied by “Beauticians” (not Estheticians or Master Cosmetologists) or unlicensed individuals.  According to the Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Policy #4 Salons, Section G: Eyelash Extensions. Licensed master cosmetologists or licensed estheticians may be allowed to perform eyelash extensions.  Neither nail technicians nor hair designers are licensed to perform eyelash extension services.  Adopted March 11, 2009

Unfortunately, legislation follows litigation.  We encourage prospective clients who have to go through The Lash Extension’s Lash Rehab to REPORT any “Lash Stylist” that is in violation of the State statute.  They are not only risking your health, but also the health of the public.  It’s up to you to stop unlicensed stylists from damaging anyone else’s eyes and/or eyelashes.

  • If you can’t comb through your new extensions;
  • If your eyelid has chunks of glue on it;
  • If your eyelids are swollen and/or if you keep getting infections;
  • If your “Lash Tech/Beautician” uses weave glue on your eyelashes;
  • If your lashes just feel painful; and
  • If your new extensions are pulling out your natural lashes….

This is truly a tragic lash experience!  At The Lash Extension we want to help.  Though we may be looking at a month or more of natural Lash Rehabilitation, with your home care and our expertise, we shall do our best to get your lashes back to a beautiful, healthy state.

We present to you our series of Lash Rehab projects.  The work and/or damage to natural lashes in the lower pictures is another salon’s.  The Lash Extension’s corrective work is featured in the top image.
