We all know it is important to obey the law. RW Auto Glass of Arizona is going to break down Arizona law to help drivers understand the law and how to obey it.

Arizona Statute 28-957.01 says that an adequate windshield is required for your vehicle. The language of the law is important to note here. The statute specifically says an “adequate” windshield. What does the word adequate mean?

Definition of adequate (adjective – Merriam-Webster)

1: sufficient for a specific need or requirement

2: lawfully and reasonably sufficient

You must have a windshield for your vehicle. The windshield must be made of safety glass that is manufactured to prevent shattering if broken. You will not have to worry about cheap auto glass installed that is not up to par with the law because RW Auto Glass of Arizona has certified OEM auto glass and is a preferred shop of all major insurance companies, Safelite Auto Glass© and Lynx Glass Services©

Arizona Statute 28-959.01 says that any materials placed, displayed, installed, affixed or applied on the windshield…. in a manner that obstructs or reduces a driver’s clear view through the windshield or side or rear windows.

Definition of affixed (verb – Merriam-Webster)

1: to attach physically

2: to attach in any way

A cracked windshield is an attached physical part of your windshield and that is why a cracked windshield is against the law in Arizona according to statute 28-959.01.
