I don't know if it's global warming, pesticide resistance, or stray radiation augmentation, but the state of Mississippi seems to be over-run with head lice.

I don't recall EVER havibng head lice as a child, but then I grew up in Georgia..... I am so completely tired of treating my children for head lice I could scream.

If it were a publicly traded company I would buy stock in Heartland Products, Inc. the manufacturers of Lice Arrest, a non-toxic lice solution that works wonders. I may as well own stock, I purchase enough of it. But it is botanical, non-toxic and safe to use frequently. If we relied on those permethrin based products we would be so overly toxic that my kids may ahve grown second heads by now, and think of how much fun the lice could have then :)

What are your thoughts? Do see more head lice now? Do you find head lice have run free in your schools, camps, churches, yards? What are your treatments of choice?

Time to rinse,

Laura
