My wife and I are exploring options to combat credit card and personnel loan debt. I was relocated by my company this past summer from NJ to Maryland. Our hope of a fresh start is in jeopardy: while my employment opportunity is real, my wife's job opportunities are limtied here on the Eastern Shore. She remains employed in the restaurant industry but we find her severely underemployed. We cannot meet our monthly obligations. We were considering debt consolidation but after careful review of our finances, I am believing that bankruptcy may be our ONLY viable option.
