or have I ever had the comments from people when I get my hair done here that LOVE it! Very comfortable salon. Very affordable and beyond happy with my experience here. I never know what I really need so I like to know I can leave my hair in capable hands. And I found the place that I know I trust the stylist more than myself. Amazing....and yes - the compliments I get afterwards are the justification. ...read more

The owner's son did nothing but cus at the machine because he could figure out how to fix it or what ever. Then when he was confronted by a customer sitting next to my woman, which she stated that he should not be cussing in front of customers because it is unprofessional, he stated that she should just f’n ignore him if she didn't like it. The owner apologized for his rudeness. Even though the kid still continued to swear at the machine & long story short, only charged my lady 20 instead of 25 because she was not in the mood to even be in his presence. Called the next day & Kevin the owner said he remembered her & that he would fix it. She went there & wasn't even allowed to get what she wanted & was even charged 5 dollars because he knew that his son only charged her 20. So he gets his money & the customer gets nothing but hassled, felt uncomfortable & wasted time. So all in all, my lady will never go there again. That's not good customer service ...read more

Time To Winterize Your Skin!

Sorry it has been a while since my last post, I have been busy at the spa.  This time I wanted to share some great winter products with you that we carry at the salon. Clayton Shagal Skin Care Line. This skin care line is based on the three principal components of theskin :COLLAGEN, ELASTIN and WATER Clayton Shagalis a Canadian based manufacturer of skin care products, with headquarters in Quebec.  Clayton Shagaldeveloped its fine product line with the intent of understanding the skin's natural regenerating process and working with it. From one product, it has grown into a specialized line that addresses the skin care needs of both younger and mature skin, men and women alike. The birth of theClayton Shagal Skin Care Lineemerged from the transformation of a pharmaceutical product used in German hospitals and health care clinics for healing of a variety of skin ailments, including the treatment of burn victims, acne and psoriasis sufferers, antiaging to post-facial surgery recuperation. The German treatment product was seen as an effective and proven medical-cosmetic solution to the burgeoning skin care industry. This time I will focus on the line of in-depth moisturizers byClayton Shagal.  These products willhydrate the skin tissues effectively, and enhance cell activity of the face and the delicate areas of the eye contour, lips, and neck. Have Mature Skin? UseClayton Shagal Collagen Gel Plus.  This product is ideal for mature skin.  Fortifies and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, enhances the replacement of collagen lost in the aging process, improves skin's ability to retain moisture, and changes skin pigmentation to  be healthy and glowing.  You will be surprised at how quickly your skin responds to this product.  Have Younger Skin, Sensitive Skin, or Acne Prone Skin? You should useClayton Shagal Collagen Gel II.  This product improves skin conditions such as rosacea, couperose, and broken capillaries.  It revitalizes and normalizes the production of collagen, delays formation offine wrinkles, and improves skin's ability to retain moisture.  If you do not want to buy a new product set, at least consider these products as an addition to your routine!  Winter is the time to gently exfoliate and deeply moisturize your skin.  Heaters and dry air will really dry the skin out.  Remember to hydrate well and drink plenty of water!Until next time,Bella Skin Body Boutique ...read more

Summer Skin - time to get ready for Fall!

Not only is it time to enjoy your last days of summer - it is also time to start preparing your skin for new seasons.  It is time to evaluate your skin care routine and help your skin look fresh and dewy after a long summer in the sun.    Here are some great tips to follow as Summer comes to an end: 1.  Rinse Away That Dry Summer Skin: The number one leading factor to healthly, glowing skin is a good cleansing routine.  In our spa we recommend Skin Ceuticals products.  They offers a line of gentle cleaners, that hydrate and balance your skin.  SkinCeuticals cleansers and toners include a variety of active ingredients to lift impurities and oils, gently exfoliate dead skin cells, and balance pH levels, leaving the skin fresh and clean without increased dryness or oiliness. They offer several different lines of skincare products created specifically to match individual needs from skin that is acne prone, or mature skin needing a little extra ingredients to manage fine lines and sagging, to combination skin that is prone to both dry areas and clogged pores.  We can help you find the product to match your needs.   2.  Moisturize for a Healthy Glow: It is important to use a daily moisturizer to help replenish and retain moisture in the skin diminishing fine lines, and creating a good base for your makeup routine.  SkinCeuticals moisturizers are carefully formulated with multi-functional ingredients that nourish and protect as they hydrate and restore elasticity. Our moisturizers maximize ingredient synergies and provide optimal benefits to the skin. Pores are minimized as texture is refined, resulting in younger looking skin.  3.  Daily Sunscreen! The sun is our friend and at the same time our worst enemy.  It is important for you to add a good quality sunscreen into your daily routine.  If you spend time outdoors during daylight hours, you need to use sunscreen! Regardless of your skin type, the sun's rays penetrates deeply into the skin and damages DNA of skin cells.  Here are some tips on how to select a good sunscreen: Select a sunscreen with a SPF of at least 15. Choose broad-spectrum products that provide protection against both UVA and UVB radiation.  Look on the ingredient labels for oxbbenzone, sulisobenzone, avobenzone (Parsol 1789), ecamsule, titanium dioxide or zinc oxides. Watch for added ingredients that may be irritating to your skin.   Some sunscreens contain fragrances, preservatives and other ingredients.  If you have sensitive skin, look for sunscreen that doesn't contain the potential allergens, such as fragrances or colorants, and is specifically designed for your type of skin.  Read the label. Look for sunscreens labeled "water resistant," which offers some protection against washing off while swimming or when perspiring heavily. Sunscreens can no longer be labeled "waterproof" because all sunscreens wash off to some extent. Other terms that can no longer be used on sunscreen product labels include "sun block" (no product actually blocks all UV rays) and "all-day" (no sunscreen lasts all day).  If you find these products they are probably out of date and not able to fully protect your skin.  Make sure any product you use does contain sunscreen.  Many tanning oils and tanning lotions do not. Products that don't contain sunscreen are required by law to clearly indicate that information on their label. 4. Hydrate! Finally, the last step is to ensure you hydrate from the inside out.  Our skin is approximately 90% water.  Water in our body stimulates the circulation of blood, fluids, and the necessary nutrients inside our body. Good circulations helps our bodies deal with it's impurities and ensure the healthy nutrients get to our cells.   It is important in the spring and summer to increase the amount of water that you drink.  Well hydrated skin is able to continually replace itself and slough off old, dead cells. Chat next time! Wishing you clear and happy skin.    Bella ...read more
