Gardens are nice but negative experience with using Groupon coupon. Paid in full in advance $8 to Groupon for admission for two at TUCSON BOTANICAL GARDEN. Receptionist still tried to charge entrance at 9am on 5-31-12 even though Groupon coupon required no further payment. First tried to charge $24. When I explained about Groupon coupon, she said I still owed $16. I explained that again that it was paid in full and she still tried to charge extra $8. I explained it was only for two people and the third person in our group was not going into the garden. She finally very condescendingly allowed two people to enter on GROUPON coupon. Reception rude and discourteous, perhaps because she is white and we are brown and Indian so she thought we are ignorant hicks she could easily cheat. Obviously I can only speculate on her motives since I can never know them for sure but I can certainly comment unequivocally on her behavior.
