ALL the reviews that you read about this company are TRUE and I am still employed at VSS Security looking for other employment. The Google reviews are fluff and lies. Their pay rate is the lowest of all other security employment agencies. VSS Security get ALL the BAD contracts that no other security agency will touch. VSS guards ALWAYS work a post by themselves unarmed at bad locations on all three shifts and they have no problem sending a female guard to a dangerous location on second or third shift by herself. They NEVER,NEVER pay employees on the date of pay day-you may get paid the next day, a few days later or a week or more later an this is EVERY pay day! VSS Security also make a new guard pay $240.00 for a used inform and worn uniform-they take $40.00 every two weeks out of your pay check for three months!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been working for Special Security Force for a little over 3 years now and I can't say enough good things about his company. I worked for several other companies before coming to the company and frankly neither come close to the training I have received while working here. The owners and operators of this company are great people who truly care about both their employees and their clients. They don't mess up your pay check and they will always work with you to get you the schedule that works for you. Another exciting stolen vehicle recovery, this time in Las Cruses NM. One of our customer in Las Cruses NM called us about 8 AM to report that one of his vehicles loaded with equipment and material was stolen. He notified the authorities and we were able to give precise location of stolen vehicle that was heading north on Hwy 25. The pursuit lasted about an hour and a half until finally the perpetrator head to his hideout in Truth or Consequence. What a place to stop! Sheriff and State police apprehended him immediately. The company manager was also following the vehicle at a safe distance. When the manager arrived at the location of where the police and stolen vehicle was, he noticed that a lot of the equipment was already missing. He called us and we were able to review the history of the vehicle for the time it was stolen and noticed it made 2 additional stops earlier. We provided the addresses to the authorities and the business manager. They proceeded to the locations and recovered the missing equipment.
