Hey, Bartender! Professional Bartending Services

We paid a $500 tip for two bartenders to handle our 225 person wedding so our guests would not have to tip. I spoke to the owner of Hey Bartender - Chad - specifically about this - `NO TIPPING - I WILL PAY A $500 GENEROUS TIP. I personally spoke to both bartenders before the wedding began NO TIPPING ALLOWED - I AM PAYING $500 FOR YOUR TIP. In the few days that followed, guests told me they asked the bartenders where the tip jar was and the bartender said it's behind the bar over here. They then hustled my guests for tips throughout the night and then took my $500 at the end of the night. VERY UNETHICAL. In addition, they were not set up properly by the time the wedding began. The lines for drinks were unacceptably long for the first hour and 1/2, due to their poor preparation. They provided poor service, a bad attitude from one of the bartenders and they essentially stole from my guests...and me. Do not use Hey Bartender. I told the wedding venue that hired them as part of our wedding package about what had happened and that I wanted my $500 tip back, since they double dipped, and of course Hey Bartender refused. Find someone else. ...read more

Hey, Bartender! Professional Bartending Services

The bartender was seriously rude and condescending to my groomsman, disrespectful to my sister and was overheard by guests bad mouthing the beer we provided, saying it was "cheap". My wife and I put so much hard work doing everything we could to provide an amazing experience for my guests and was really bothered to be so criticized by someone who's supposed to be there to make it a better experience for everyone. Several days later I replied to a request by Hey Bartender to do an anonymous survey and my worst criticism was simply that the bartender needs to work on his customer service and watch how he talks to people. Two weeks later I received the most unprofessional email I've ever read from the owner of Hey Bartender, lashing out about how he would have thrown my groomsman off the property and that we should be grateful to the bartender. Never once did Chad address the issue of the disrespect and poor customer service which was the single issue that we had. ...read more

What is the best river float tube?

The art and sport of fishing has been adored by many ever since the beginning of time and civilization. Fishing has served to be both as a means of living and as a patronized sport and past-time hobby. Just the mere thought of spending your time in the waters, cooling your self down from the hot weather while aspiring to have a good catch makes you wish that you own either a canoe, a kayak or a even just a small johnboat just to enjoy the thrill of fishing. But alas! Even just a mere canoe or kayak cost several hundreds of dollars! But good thing there’s still another great alternative way for you to enjoy this relaxing and stress relieving sport and you don’t even need to spend too much to avail it! Over the past years, belly boats or most commonly known asFloat Tubeshave been considered as one of the coolest way to go stream fishing and escape the heat at the most affordable way. A Float Tube also referred to as kick boat or belly boat is a kind of floatation device that Anglers use to fish in streams. This floatation device was formerly shaped like a doughnut with an underwater seat through the hole in its middle. Today, float tubes takes three main shapes which includes a (1) V-shape, a (2) U-shape, and a (3) circular-shape float tube. Float Tubes are basically invented for the aspects of fishing in areas that are not possible to fish from the bank such as fly fishing for trout and lure fishing for bass. The latest design of float tubes includes a V-shape tube with barge on both sides and the seat of the boat is elevated above the water. The basic float tube include an inflated bladder insider a sewn cover which provides the seat for the Angler, reserve air compartments, and tackle storage pockets. Though, most of the modern designs today are customized by Anglers to provide more convenience for them such as having their crafts contain rod holders, electronic fish finders, and lights. This design of the float tubes allows the Angler’s legs to be only part of his body to be submerged into the water. The Angler, as part of his protective gear and part of the float tube’s accessories, wears stocking foot chest waders and also scuba diving flippers to keep his legs dry while he paddles using his feet across the water. The paddling movement with the flippers are done in a gentle way so that the Angler’s catch won’t get disturbed by the movement. After reaching the certain area where the Angler wishes to catch his prey, he remains still there until his prey comes at bay. Float Tubes are generally one of the best ways to escape the heat of summer and enjoy a relaxing dip in the waters while waiting for a good catch. It is also much cheaper than other means of fishing. While canoes and kayaks cost several dollars, a float tube usually cost lower than $150 and a lot of them below $100. So, if you are looking for a thrilling and at the same time relaxing way to spend one of your boring summer days, go on and take a dip into an exciting experience with Float Tubes. Float Tube Fishing has been getting more popular for both as a sport and at the same time as relaxing hobby. Well who wouldn’t be tempted to indulge themselves into this exciting sport when it’s much more affordable compared to other fishing sports out there? Other than the fact that Float Tube Fishing does not require the fisher to buy his own boat and may only spend a maximum of $150 and lower, float tube fishing also allows the fisher to get closer to nature while enjoying a stress-relieving and fun dip into the waters. For first-time Float Tubers An open-front beginner model such as the White River Float Tube is quite advisable for first time float tubers. Other than they come really cheap, this model is also easy to figure out and use on the water for novices. Thus, you can always add more extra accessories to make your fishing experience more enjoyably thrilling. The main reason why float tube are able to float on water is because of the U-shape, V-shape, or O-shape PVC bladders that is located on the interior of the boat. These main bladders need to be blown up by hand or with a pump compressor which can be successfully done at home or at a gas station. Float tubes also include plenty of storage to place your bait into. They have designs that compose of removable wool patch that is attached to the arm via Velcro which likely comes on handy when changing baits. Also, most of the latest designs come with rod holders which usually are purchased separately and are then added afterwards. One of the key points when choosing a float tube is to make sure that the float boat has a high-visibility panel that will be able to signal other boaters of your presence on the water. Also take into vital consideration of always wear a PFD while float tubing, carry marine radio, GPS, boots, waders, fins, and also patch hit. It is always better to be ready on anything that might happen than never. What to do on the water After your float tube isalready inflated, throw on your waders, boots, fins and you’re good to go float tubing. One of the easiest and most basic ways to launch your float tube is through a dock or through a boat ramp. Launching from lakesides is not also that difficult if you’re going to do it on a flat ground surface. Advantages and Disadvantages of Float Tubes Float Tubes have become a very world-wide popular with fishing-enthusiasts, especially with Anglers. Why? Well, obviously float tubing is a great fishing alternative when one wants to escape the exhausting heat and indulge into a refreshingly fun moment with nature. Float Tubes are crafts that enable one to go fishing without the hassle of spending too much money for a boat. It is actually the most efficient way to go fishing into streams and lakes. Float tubes lets the fisher or float tuber to position him self in the water with the use of his feet while his hands are free to cast. This craft provides an excellent way to fish with portability and style in the most affordable way. But just like any other fishing crafts, float tube also has its ups and downs. Here are some of the benefits and drawbacks of float tubing: Portability It is quite a fact that Float tubes are made mainly for portability. Float tubes can be inflated conveniently and are easy to carry due to its light weight (about less than 20 pounds). This types of crafts also easily fit into a small trunk which can be carried in a backpack when going into remote lakes. Fly Fishing Float tubes were basically designed for the purpose fly fishing. Since it contains many pockets on its tubes, it allows the tuber to take out various gears while at the same time keeping it organized. The features of float tubes allow the Angler to do casting without any hassle in any direction he desires. No White water White waters and other flowing waters are definitely not meant for float tubers. It is for the main fact that float tubes are not created for flowing body of waters. Although there are some float tubes that are capable to go over float tubing in rivers, it is still such a must to make sure that there is not white water in that river. Hence, Anglers must also take note to avoid having their legs get caught on underwater restraint like downed timber and rocks. ...read more

You can also read my Tube Buyer’s Guide here and don’t forget I have reviews of all the mos t popular tubes here. The oldest design for  good tube for boating  is the round donut-shaped tube which may or may not be partially covered. Originally designed to hold a single rider, some models are now designed to hold multiple riders. The over-all design for a donut tube features a small footprint and typically a higher center of gravity. It gets outside of the wake much easier than its larger counterparts but can be prone to tipping. This style is also better suited for adults or teens as the hole in the center can be too big to lay on for smaller children. An example of a popular tube is the Obrien Tow Deck Tube Kwik Tek Turbo Blast Inflatable TowableDeck tubes are flat lay-on-top towables that are typically round or “D” shaped and can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 4 riders. These tubes provide a lot of fun since they cross wakes easily and keep the riders extremely close to the water so they can feel the speed while riding. Due to the large surface area that is exposed to air when going over wake bumps and whip turns, it can tend to flip over easily so this style is better for teens and adults that like speed and the challenge of trying to stay atop the tube. Airhead Ride in tube Ride-in tubes can be designed in a number of shapes and sizes and can hold 1 to 4 riders depending on the model. They often resemble small boats since the riders actually sit down inside the inflatable instead of lay or sit on top of it. This type of tube is perfect for young riders or individuals who would like to stay comfortable and dry while getting towed behind the boat. A great example of a ride in cockpit style tube is the AIRHEAD AHVI-F2 Viper 2 Towable – pictured to the left. Ride-In Tube Airhead Ride in tube Ride-in tubes can be designed in a number of shapes and sizes and can hold 1 to 4 riders depending on the model. Ride-On Tube Kwik Tek Jumbo Dog Inflatable Tube Ride-on tubes also can come in a variety of shapes and sizes but typically resemble a long torpedo and are often called “banana boats” like the raft seen in the Jaws movie. These can accommodate 1-12 riders depending on the model and are great options for people who want to enjoy the ride with their friends and family. A downside to this type is that they can tip over easily due to the high center of gravity. The leader of the pack in thehot dogstyle tubes is the Kwik Tek Jumbo Dog Inflatable Towable which I did a review on. Rocker Tube Airhead 2-Person Matrix tube Rocker tubes are a relatively new style that features wings or sides that flow upwards which creates a rocking effect on the water. This type of tube is usually extremely stable and won’t tip over since during extreme whip turns they will simply ride up onto the wings instead of just tipping over. This makes them great for riders of any experience and of any age. Talk about a blast with this style tube… you can read my Airhead Matrix Tube Review here. Concept Tube These good tube for boating  are designed for specific performance criteria. They are only for experienced riders who are seeking a thrill.  Concept towables can fly, roll, or produce some type of unique experience.
