The owner of the house I was renting switched property management companies to this horrible company, Desert Investment Advisors. From the day he switched, we had nothing but problems. The CEO, Kirk Piersma is extremely rude. He does not return phone calls or emails. The owner of the house had to intervene in numerous situations due to the lack of response. I moved out of the home last month and left the house in better shape than it was when I moved in. I requested to be present during the final walk-through and he never responded. I received a statement stating that a patio post had to be replaced. I made a call to Kirk Piersma who stated that my dog chewed up the post. I have never owned a dog nor any pet animal in my life. He was unable to provide pictures and has kept my deposit. He also added numerous fees that were not in my lease when I moved out for every month I resided in the house. Do not ever do business with this company. You will also find numerous issues online with tenants including disciplinary actions and civil penalties from the Arizona Department of Real Estate. ...read more

Nice lush and clean grounds and the people who work there are always on the ball and on top of it. No, they did pay me to say that. I been here 5 years and always enjoyed it here. ...read more

Desert Investment Advisors (DIA) has a CEO - Kirk Piersma who has a long and sordid history as a property manager. He has had his license revoked, paid thousands of dollars in fines and penalties - but is still in business - operating through a surrogate - Cory Little. He even has a A+ rating from the BBB which goes to show how poor a job they do when reviewing and accepting a business. What they should have done was go to the Arizona Department of Real Estate's website and looked him up. If they had they would have found over 30 pages of validated complaints against him. Run - don't walk away from Kirk Piersma and DIA. ...read more
