Types of Personalized Gifts for Businesses

A business has many ways of showing appreciation for its employees. Some companies give bonuses and money, others have gifts that are handed out. A personalized gift, or one with the recipient's name, is a special way for a company to show that they value an employee as a person. Oftentimes, an employee can feel isolated or invisible; using a name on a gift shows that an employee is very much part of the team.

Pen and Stationary

A "from the desk of..." notepad with a high-end, personalized pen shows an employee that his or her communications are valued and appreciated. The stationary can use the company logo or letterhead, or it can have a theme that reflects an employee's personality or interests.

Tote

If employees have a lot of materials to carry from work to home, such as a teacher or realtor would, then a sturdy bag to tote all of that material would be a welcome gift. Personalized with a name or initials and the company or school's logo, a nice bag will work like a functional name tag.

Computer Memory

If employees generally need to store a lot of information on flash drives or other forms of removable memory, then a personalized flash drive will be much appreciated. If it will be used for work, then it should have a large amount of memory. A name will also help to identify the equipment if it is lost!

Charitable Donation

Perhaps the best present is the gift of giving. Knowing that a donation has been made to a worthy cause, in the name of the employee, might be worth more than any material object a company might could an employee.
