How To Make Coffee Cup Bouquets as Gifts
A coffee cup bouquet is a great way to personalize a gift with all of the favorite candy or treats that your friend, co-worker or family member likes. This unique gift choice will let them know that you cared enough to personalize their present. You can use candy, beef jerky or other meats and cheeses, sample coffee bags or anything else that the recipient might love.
- Choose a personalized coffee cup that matches the taste of the recipient. Coffee cups come in all different shapes and sizes. Many offer humorous sayings; others are personalized for a mother, father, or grandparent. Choose a cup that is deep so that the bouquet is more secure.
- Fill the coffee cup with tissue paper that matches the colors or designs in the coffee cup that you have chosen. You can use more than one color if you like depending on the colors in your coffee cup. Place the folded up tissue paper into the cup allowing it to extend over the edge of the cup around the perimeter.
- Choose a small candy to fill the bottom of the cup with; this will secure your bigger items on top. You should consider the color of the candy because it will be seen. Match the color of the candy inside the base of the cup to your tissue paper and coffee cup.
- Depending on what you are using to form the bouquet, you may or may not need small wooden dowels to make them different heights in your bouquet.
- Attach the items to your small wooden dowels with a hot glue gun. Cut your dowels to different lengths so that your items are able to cascade as if they were a bouquet.
- Place your candy and other items into your cup using the wooden dowels. A full cup will be more secure so add as much as you can fit until the cup is full and your bouquet is perfectly arranged.
- Place a matching ribbon around the base or handle of the cup and tie in a knot, leaving about twelve inches of extra ribbon after the knot.
- Curl the extra ribbon with scissors for a fun, decorative effect.
