I recently moved to NWA and when I had to find a new local hairstylist I was a bit nervous as this NWA is far from being a Mecca of Style. I decided to go to an Aveda salon, due to the "Avenda" reputation of extra training, apprenticeship program, and products... Accents had the best location, so there is where I scheduled by appointment. The first appointment was a haircut... went well. Second appointment was hair color and trim... went okay - but a v-shape style was inflicted into my medium length hair (believe me when I say - I didn't ask for the hillbilly v-shape).. but it's just hair in 2 months it will grow out, no problem. After months of attempting to manage hair vs. humidity, humidity was winning by a landslide! I contemplated a perm (yes in retrospect, the 80s are over... don't do it!) to go "with" the humidity.... curls and bounce was supposed to be good thing!
