This is really cool. I've known Jennifer for 20+ and her company is awesome. She's a really cool person and very talented. Her work is first rate. I've seen some of things she and her husband, Chip, have created and absolutely love it. You should definitely check it out. I'd recommend her to any and everyone. ...read more

Mid 2011 Update for The Art of Letters, LLC - alphabet photography

WOW!  We're halfway through our 4th year of business as The Art of Letters, LLC, and are approaching our 5 year anniversary, in December, of the very first Framed Name Art we made.  We humbly continue to receive this blessing from the Lord and only hope to bring Him glory in all we do.   It's been quite some time since The Art of Letters, LLC has updated our Merchant Circle account, but I am finally back on here and touching it up a bit.  Here's an all too familiar phrase, "our website is being completely rebuilt and isn't ready yet", so if you try to visit and design your artwork, you'll see our temporary page for now.  Orders can still be placed by having us design one for you.  As a lot of you know, we've had a lot of trouble with our old site and have been trying to get a new site built for over a year and a half now. After much praying, the Lord put me in contact with yet another new web design company and we are now on our way!  Our desired and contracted timeline should have us ready by the first week of Sept., just in time for Fall and our "super busy" season.  Sounds all too familiar, I know, and quite frankly, I don't know which one I'm more excited about...the new site really being rebuilt or me getting close to not having to say that anymore!!!  Praises!!! We have had such a great year so far starting out in Spring, which included Cottontails (Birmingham), Fairhope (tucked perfectly in between Mobile and Gulf Shores), Cherry Blossom (Conyers, GA), Bloomin Festival (Cullman, AL), Main Street Festival (Franklin, TN), Shady Days (Gay, GA), and the finale to our "Spring Fling", Canton, MS.  We then moved right into our nice break for summer to enjoy our most precious family. Don't get me wrong...we still worked filling orders of personalized name art using our original, impressive collection of alphabet photography, for weddings, retirements, birthdays, "I want one because I saw one at....", births, house-warmings, moving away gifts, Christmas (yes, Christmas - some well prepared folks out there), sprucing up your decor at home, adding a fresh touch to your office, decorating a dorm or college apartment, and personalizing your vacation home.  I'm sure there are other reasons, but I believe that covers a good bit of them.  It's time to step it up and get moving for our upcoming Fall season, which begins Sept. 8th, with the Yellow Daisy Festival in Stone Mountain Park, GA!  We have added a few new events to our already awesome schedule and are so excited to see how our new distressed boards, which we introduced in March, will do!  I know one thing...based on their performance for Spring, I've got an awwwwwful lot of painting to do in the next couple of weeks to even think about having enough to carry us for just a couple of shows at a time. And, I've even found some new and exciting alphabet photos, as well as a few numbers, to spruce up our collection, which have been a huge hit.   Join us, as we continue on our journey, to our repeat and newly scheduled events, seeing loyal customers and meeting new ones, and covering walls across the United States with The Art of Letters, LLC's personalized artwork!   Be sure to check out some of the recently added photos of completed frames.  And by all means, get those gift lists ready so you can place your order in person at an event, or on the website (when it's back), or both! Thanks for reading and many blessings!!! Jennefer ...read more

Happy New Year 2010 from The Art of Letters, LLC!

Happy New Year from The Art of Letters, LLC!  We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas holiday and a great 2009.  2010 brings us gratefully into our third year of business and we are so excited about the great new products we will be introducing throughout the year.  We will be offering a new version of our framed name art utilizing our very own unique alphabet photography, as well as new letters and hopefully even a couple of new venues to our 2010 event schedule, and that's not all.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers for such a successful 2009.  We sincerely appreciate your loyalty and enthusiasm, and have really enjoyed meeting a lot of you at our events.  We are also thankful to our family and friends, old and new, that have helped us by offering their time, support, ideas and knowledge.  The Lord has richly blessed us, and continues to do so, to have you all in our lives. Keep in mind now that the Christmas season is over, there are still plenty of reasons and upcoming holidays for you to give the most unique and highly sought after gift.  Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Birthdays, Anniversaries, just to name a few to help get you started.  Our personalized name art notecards are also a great gift and fun to use to help brighten someones day.   The best part about it all is that you get to design your very own piece of art whether it's on a notecard or in a beautiful, high quality, custom frame.  We will be working diligently to get the site updated, so be sure to check back often.  We wish you all a great 2010! ...read more

Lots of New for The Art of Letters, LLC

We'll soon be revealing our newly re-designed website.  Please check back soon to be one of the first to see it and design your very own piece of personalized art using our virtual frame builder.  It's so much fun, even addicting, to see the many different options for your art. Along with the new website, we have also added more than 30 new letters - maybe 50 - we haven't counted yet, as well as new mat colors and frames.  We'e very excited about the upcoming Fall and Christmas seasons as we'll be participating in some new events along with some of our regular favorites.  October brings Homestead Hollow in Springville, AL (www.homesteadhollow.com), Canton Market in Canton, MS (www.Cantonmsfleamarket.com), Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie, LA (www.oakalleyplantation.com), and possibly one more.  November is jam packed with Christmas Village in Birmingham, AL (www.christmasvillagefestival.com), Christmas Village Nashville (www.christmasvillage.org), and Handworks Market in Jackson, MS (www.handworksmarket.com).  It looks like we'll be finishing out the year at the Cahaba Christmas Market at the Trussville Civic Center in Trussville, AL (www.trussville.org). Come see us at one of our events and design your artwork in person and make sure to check back for the website. ...read more
