I applied for SSI 4 months ago and just received a call it would be another month. I have no money, cannot work due to lung disease (Lost over 60 percent of lung capacity), Have no money, cannot work, and cannot buy food, pay rent, or even purchase prescrived medications. This is becoming a matter of life or death, and no one seems to care at the Social Security Office in Mobile. I am at their "mercy" and seem to be going no where. ...read more
