Academy Apts and Torrance Apts Jennifer Brown is the manager. The address is 2601 Academy Dr NW Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Do not move in the cable has been out since around March 2014. Jennifer claims it will be on soon however it is August and still no cable. The apts are infested with bed bugs and the company does not properly treat them. The bed bugs have been here for over a year and they just keep getting pasted from apt to apt. I had bed bugs and it took about a month for them to come and spray. I just go the run around. I have been bitten may times woke up in the middle of the night with bed bugs crawling over me. Any questions stop by the Torrance Apartments and ask the residents. It takes longer periods of time than required by law to fix things around the Torrance Apts. The structure of the building is extremely poor and is a safety violation for kids and adults. I have know Val Moore, through our church, for more than 30 years. I find her to be very honest and trustworthy. She has handled my real estate rental for four years. Very pleased with my tenants and her management of the property. I had one tenant for 6 months who paid a premium for a six month lease. One tenant for three years. And a new tenant of 4 months. I have never lost money on a tenant and my property has shown no damage during this time. ...read more
