I've lived at the Summit for 18 months. I've had a fairly pleasant experience while living here. I've read the comments below and I will respond to those because they do not accurately reflect what is happening at Cameron.\t\n \t\nI want to comment first about the staff at Cameron. In the past, I've read a few negative posts about the office staff relating to a time period of about 2 to 4 years ago. Rest assured, there are NO issues with the staff. I won't name any names, but I can tell you, they are all very helpful. They always were available to help and were genuinely concerned with making sure any issue we had was resolved. They also would check back with me if I saw them outside to make sure everything was okay. They paid particular attention to my questions with an intent to get down to the root issue and propose a solution before I left. That is truly revolutionary. Most complexes I've lived in just jotted it down and I would never hear anything back. Cameron has a top notch staff. They aren't just collecting rent checks, they're busy providing excellent service to their customers and taking time to make sure we're happy. \t\n-\t\nComments below:\t\nThis person should have never signed off on accepting an apartment in the condition it was in. No apartment is perfect. As to getting your money back for the deposit, I'm not exactly sure I understand why you would expect to get all of it back. Write it off and forget about it. Repairs and cleaning do have to be paid for. You'd spend more fixing up your home to sale. The deposit is a bargain. Most if not all of the issues they wrote about seem to be NON ISSUES under the current management.\t\n\t\nThese are nice apartments in a great location. You'll pay for the premium of this location. The staff can't be beat. ...read more

Where to begin? I have never lived in worse conditions. The siding is coming off. NO ONE picks up their dog waste! There was a hole in my deck from a grill fire big enough for your dog to fall through. The apt was filthy when we moved in. A door was completely delaminated. The outdoor halls stink from garbage. The pools are always closed for some reason. The manager Miche**e is such a b**ch that they talk about her at the Summit Mall! Overpriced for what you get. Actually, we were paying more than any of our neighbors for the same apt and we moved in BEFORE they did. I believe they charge you for irrigation water because there is NO WAY we use $62 a moth in water/sewer. The bathrooms are so bad we shower at the gym. The rug was so filthy when we moved in, my wife had to start taking decongestants. The rug was so worn that it had to be re-stretched. They should have changed it before we moved in, but they would not let us see the apartment before moving in. We have pictures to prove everything. E-mail me if you want (Lawmdphd@aol com). We were charged for untrue things when we moved out. I had ONE clock on the wall and we were charged $15 for anchors in the walls. Charges for cleaning? It was cleaner than when we moved in (pictures at move out also). It is not worth fighting them. Rather be rid of them. BUT I am writing to their corporate owners. I could go on and on. E-mail me for proof. ...read more
