I am still reeling from the lack of professionalism demonstrated by someone who claims to be a professional resume writer. Without knowing me or my background Gloria wasted no time in bloviating on President Obama and telling me that with a background in politics and community organizing I could be just like him - raising taxes on small business and taking everyone's money. Of course, had she kept her mouth shut and inquired about my background politely I would have told her that I worked to elect President Obama, ran his statewide organization and have my own values which do not up for discussion. I was expecting a professional. What I was met with was someone who lost my business before even getting me in the door. Personal politics shouldn't be part of hiring a resume writer. My AMAZING experience with Opti spans several years. In 2010, I was searching for a job by myself. I didn't find the perfect fit. So, I decided to consult several staffing agencies in Anchorage. Seriously - several. Opti Staffing was, by far, the BEST. They immediately invited me in where several people interviewed me. Each had different and exciting ideas about where I might end up! Above all, they were all extremely dedicated to finding something that would meet my needs and make me happy. Also, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet in your life. It was less than a week when Opti called to tell me they had gotten me an interview. I was floored at the opportunity Opti staffing found! I got the job and absolutely loved it! Sadly I was laid off due to a reduction in force just over a year later. So, I went back to Opti! It took maybe a month for them to find an amazing job on a contract basis. First off, Opti doesn't cost a cent, so I have no clue what your talking about and 2 they have found me 2 jobs within a week since the first job didn't work out and now I am in a job that is paying me well and again not a penny comes out of my pocket. the staff there are all friendly and very helpful! I def would recommend Opti for those looking for a job ...read more
