I am still reeling from the lack of professionalism demonstrated by someone who claims to be a professional resume writer. Without knowing me or my background Gloria wasted no time in bloviating on President Obama and telling me that with a background in politics and community organizing I could be just like him - raising taxes on small business and taking everyone's money. Of course, had she kept her mouth shut and inquired about my background politely I would have told her that I worked to elect President Obama, ran his statewide organization and have my own values which do not up for discussion. I was expecting a professional. What I was met with was someone who lost my business before even getting me in the door. Personal politics shouldn't be part of hiring a resume writer.
