I truly regret that my husband transferred to Katmai Oncology. The only reason he transferred was the practice was in the Providence Hospital Building. The doctor there has cut my husband off from his pain meds cold turkey. Not even talking obout his withdrawls symptoms; his pain level is high. They have not even offered to give him medicine for withdrawal symptoms. How uncaring can they be. We are looking into firing them and getting a new Oncologist. I am in the medical field and have heard that they are a real uncaring medical clinic. One tends to want to believe the best of doctors, especially when it is concerning cancer and life. I wish I had listened to the people better who have had bad experiences at Katmai. ...read more
