Three strikes your out!

I believe in second chances but today was my last straw with Best Buy! It is not necessarily the store in Nampa, Idaho (because I have found the people very nice) but it seems more like the corporate policies are not set up to be customer friendly. I had a brand new, never opened video game that was bought as a gift but my son received it from someone else. I had the receipt and went to return it. It was outside the 30 days for returns because I bought it early in case they sold out closer to the date. I couldn't argue even though I was not told this at time of check out, it is printed on the back of the receipt. I am now stuck with a $60 game. \t\nThis is my 3rd time after purchasing something from Best Buy or using their Geek Squad that it feels the policies in place are too restrictive. It almost feels they don't care about you because they already have your money or you have no choice but to pay it. I can understand that as a business they can't take risks and lose money.\t\nI am done messing with them and from now on will take my electronics business to other companies that are more customer friendly. Hope this helps others to also think twice or make sure you know what the return policy is and i.e return it within 30 days, don't open the package at all, and have to have a receipt.

I thought it was the Best Buy hahahahaha!!!

My husband and I went to Best Buy in Mid February to purchase a computer and a tv. The sales person Terry was fun to work with and pointed us toward a MacBook. Which I do love. A month after getting the computer it crashed big time. I spent hours on the phone and got it fixed. a month later the key board went out...again got it fixed but it was gone 2 weeks. Got it back then it really crashed. Again I was on the phone was told by Apple ppl to take it back it was not right. Took it back to Best Buy then the fun started. These ppl are the rudest most arrogant ppl I have ever had the opportunity to work with. Only back up the products they sell if you purchase their service pack. What does that tell me about their confidence in the products they sell. I even called their 800 number and have never gotten a call back. I promised them I would tell everyone I know what poor service they give so buyer be ware....they do not care about customers just the all mighty $$$$.
