Grigsby's Carpet Tile & Hardwood

The customer service representative at Grigsby's Carpet Tile & Rug was very nice and attentive. She went right to what I needed and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. She really listened to me.\t\n\t\nI felt that they gave me a really good price for the carpet I got. I also had the installation done by them. The installers seemed to know what they were doing and were very experienced and friendly. They were also really quick and had a good sense of humor. Everything looks really, really good.

Grigsbys put carpet padding on concrete that was heavily stained with pet urine at my rent house. They told me it was my responsibility to have it treated, which I understood since they don't offer that service. But they told me this after the fact I wasn't given the opportunity to have it treated before it was already glued in place.

I was then told they were going to charge me extra for the installation of new padding because they weren't going to remove what they just glued in place. It took me 20-30 minutes to remove the padding without harming it so it could be used once the concrete was treated.

Cindy (Sales Representative) and Penny (Manager) said they install carpeting on untreated flooring all the time. Really?!

There was no offer of resolution to the problem. In their opinion, they were right and I was wrong.
I have been in retail for over 25 years and I know how and when to accept responsibility when I've made a mistake. Obviously, Gigsbys has yet to learn

Typically, our salesman is easy to reach and responds quickly. \t\n\t\nWe have been satisfied with the work that Grigsby's has done for us over the years.
