Downtown Seattle Acupuncture/Monica Legatt Mac

During my appointment, Monica was very rushed and she seemed impatient with answering my questions. Her office seemed over booked as she was running in and out my room attending to other patients. She also was so hurried that she left a needle in my arm at the end of the appointment. She was quick to blame saying it was because we were talking. I also had a question about insurance & copays. Please be aware that even though you have 100% coverage, she will charge a $15 copay for a consultation EVERY appointment (most places only bill a consultation on the first visit). When I questioned this, she was very defensive and said she had been charging her clients this way for 10 years. I called my insurance company and they said that it wasn't typical, however, not illegal if in fact she is giving a full consultation with each appointment. She is quite knowledgeable, but I wanted to share my experience and let you decide for yourself.
