Air Comfort marks up parts 300%
I am a home owner in Chicago. I've been an annual service contract customer of Air Comfort for several years. The recently placed an order for an $11 part for my furnace and charged me roughly 300% mark-up on the purchase price. They even marked up the freight by almost 50%! I have canceled my annual service contract with them, and advise any of their commercial customers to be sure and negotiate the mark up allowed in advance to avoid being ripped off. In these economic times, business practices like these are unethical and short sighted!
