I would not advise giving this place the business. The serviceman they sent out was rude and on the phone, swearing, etc. And then they want to charge you $ 389.00 for roughly 3/4 of an hour looking at your system. A typical consultation-type fee to come out should be in the $100.00 neighborhood, give or take. Hard-working people have to work somewhere a week to clear $389.00 nowadays, I wouldn't give it to these rip-off artists, especially not with the quality of the servicemen they send out. ...read more

I am a home owner in Chicago. I've been an annual service contract customer of Air Comfort for several years. The recently placed an order for an $11 part for my furnace and charged me roughly 300% mark-up on the purchase price. They even marked up the freight by almost 50%! I have canceled my annual service contract with them, and advise any of their commercial customers to be sure and negotiate the mark up allowed in advance to avoid being ripped off.
