Cairo is a part of the Ritchie County region/metro area of West Virginia. Major attractions include North Bend State Park and Country Trails Bikes. Each year in the spring season there is the annual Bluegrass Festival. Among the biggest companies in Cairo are Nelson Farrier Service and North Bend State Park. The biggest schools here are Ritchie County High School and Harrisville Elementary School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Cairo is North Bend Golf Course.
