With 2 different experiences with Chives it has easily become my favorite new place to eat. My first time was on a girls night out and we were there on a night with entertainment. PERFECT setting for a liad back girls night. We sampled appetizers (delicious!) and drinks (great!) entrees (melt in your mouth perfect!) and desserts (words can't begin to explain!) If licking the plates would be appropriate there we would have done it. The 2nd time there was for a night out with my husband. It provided a perfect romantic setting. Again we sampled a variety from the menu. Everything could not have tasted better if they tried. The presentation of the food and drinks and the friendly staff are the best. I even tried goat cheese and a few other things I normally don't eat only because everything there was so great. If our budget allowed (you do pay for the great food and ambiance) I would be there every month for date night. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ...read more

Cute old schoolhouse setting, inside was warm, inviting and very clean. NIghtly specials from appetizer to drinks. Menu is smaller but huge variation in items. I worked my way through the martini menu (only tried 3, I am not a complete lush) definately try the kiwi martini if you like something a little sweeter! It was on the nightly special menu so I highly recommend they add as a regular item. We enjoyed the wild mushroom bruschetta with goat cheese with our drinks and can I just say amazing! The rib eye steak frite topped with muchrooms was cooked perfectly, tasted wonderfully and the portion size HUGE. Could easily work my way through the menu. I wouldn't take small kids to dinner here, I probably wouldn't even take my teenagers because we were in no hurry to leave. We had a girls evening but would be very quaint for couples too. My hubby would be jealous, we have to drive to Seattle for an evening like this. I might have to visit the Greenbay area more often. ...read more

How Do Restaurants Make Enchiladas?

Many people think that an enchilada in a restaurant is much better than anything they can ever find at home, unless they know a lot of Hispanic people.
