About Sturgeon Bay, WI
Sturgeon Bay is a part of the Door County region in the area of Wisconsin known for its Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal and Third Avenue Historic District. Major attractions include Sturgeon Bay NWTC campus and Former Carnegie Free Library. Each year the town hosts "Steel Bridge Songfest," where nationally known musicians perform. It also consists of Peterson Builders, a shipyard, is located here since the 19th century. The biggest schools here are T.J. Walker Middle School and Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.One of the best places to visit when you are in Sturgeon Bay is Sturgeon Bay Bridge, a historic place. Famous persons from Sturgeon Bay include Conrad P. Olson, Oregon Supreme Court justice and Doug Larson, newspaper colunist and writer.
