I live and work close to the China Inn. They feature a large buffet including a really good variety of choices. In addition, they have a salad bar, dessert bar and real hand-dipped ice cream as part of the price of the buffet. My children love the place and choose it over McDonald's. The atmosphere is casual and the people/service very friendly and prompt. The buffet has a selection of Chinese and American foods. The entire family will find something they like. Desserts are not made on premises and are a selection of pre-packaged, frozen items which aren't very good . I skip these and head right for the ice cream which is always great. My only complaint is when you happen to dine there during a slower time of the day, the quality of the buffet items is sometimes sub-par because the food has been on the buffet too long. If you go during busy periods (lunch and dinner hour), the quality is better. So, if you go when it's slow, my advice is order off the menu! It is always AWESOME! Call ahead and carry out is available too. I do this regularly to bring back to the office and it's always fast and terrific. Great value! ...read more
